Mr. Brandon "Bam" Harrison
Brandon “Bam” Harrison is in his first season as the athletic coordinator and head football coach at Kimball, his alma mater. A 1990 Kimball graduate, he was an all-state wide receiver on the Knights’ football team and later helped the school win its first basketball state championship.
Harrison returned to Kimball from Texas Christian University, where he served as an offensive analyst for the football program. While at TCU, Harrison provided the football coaching staff with video analytics of player personnel to assist with player development and offensive schemes. He also helped plan recruiting visits and monitored the school’s walk-on program.
Prior to joining the Horned Frogs’ staff, Harrison served as the assistant head coach and wide receivers coach at Red Oak High School from 2019-2021. The Hawks reached the area round of the playoffs in 2019 and the quarterfinals in 2020. From 2011-2019, Harrison was on the coaching staff at DeSoto High School. He was the assistant head coach and wide receivers coach during his tenure and served as the interim head coach at the school in 2018. DeSoto claimed five UIL district championships and reached the state semifinals in 2012 and 2013 before winning a state championship in 2016.
Harrison earned a football scholarship to the University of Illinois and played there three seasons before transferring to Howard Payne University for his final season. The San Diego Chargers drafted Harrison in the sixth round of the 1995 NFL Draft. He played for the Chargers in 1995 and 1996 and for the Philadelphia Eagles in 1997. Harrison also played for the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League.
Before entering coaching in 2011, Harrison worked for parks & recreation departments in the cities of Richardson, Mesquite, Lancaster, and Murrieta (Calif.) He returned to college to finish his degree in 2008, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in recreation services from Thomas Edison University (N.J.), through a program sponsored by the NFL Players Association
Mrs. Wendy Robinson
Wendy Robinson is a seasoned coach and Athletic Coordinator with over 23 years of coaching experience in basketball, track, and cross country. After successfully serving as a Middle School Athletic Coordinator for five years in DeSoto, Wendy brings a strong foundation in program development, team leadership, and student-athlete mentorship to the high school level. Known for fostering a positive, inclusive, and competitive environment, she is committed to promoting sportsmanship, academic excellence, and school pride. Wendy excels at organizing athletic schedules, supporting coaches, and building strong relationships with students, staff, and the community. With a passion for developing student-athletes both on and off the field, she aims to grow high school programs that inspire excellence, character, and lifelong success.
